我国目前唐菖蒲栽培,多数地区习惯用大球繁殖,一般春播后,在6~7月剪取切花,并保留植株越夏,秋季收获新球,作为第二年种用。这种栽培方式主要缺点是①新球的数量少,通常仅为种球的1~3倍,在短期内难以形成扩大生产的能力。②种球容易退化,连续栽培后常易断种,或仅留下少数生长强健的单一品种(如粉红色品种),严重影响唐菖蒲生产的发展。据笔者近年来的实践,认为要发展唐菖蒲生产,必须改革现行栽培方式,建议如下:
