新生血管性青光眼是一种从虹膜到前房角组织出现新生血管(rubeosis iridis)的继发性青光眼,其原因是多种多样的,常见者如:视网膜中央静脉阻塞、慢性葡萄膜炎、糖尿病性视网膜病变、慢性闭角型青光眼和恶性青光眼等。药物治疗只有短期的缓解作用,一般的滤过手术效果较差或无效。笔者从1987年9月～1989年9月采用角巩膜组织植入术治疗17例17眼,效果比较满意,报告如下。
