英语课是澳大利亚中学六年必修的课程,每周四节,每节一小时;最后一年开“英语表达”和“文学”两门课。前者必修,包括作文、写总结、阅读报刊和小说,学习语法词汇知识;后者选修,学习小说、诗歌、戏剧等文学作品,多为精选的名家名篇。本文想根据八十年代澳大利亚的一份中学语文教学大纲,并适当联系日、美、苏的有关情况,就澳大利亚中学语文教育的若干基本经验,略加评介。这份大纲(注)实际上是总则性质。共分两大部分:“英语教师的任务”;“英语课程准则”。评介以下列三方面的问题为重点。
English classes are compulsory courses for six years in secondary schools in Australia, four hours a week, one hour each; and last year, two classes of “English Expression” and “Literature” are opened. The former compulsory, including writing, writing summary, reading newspapers and novels, learning grammar vocabulary knowledge; the latter electives, learning novels, poetry, drama and other literary works, mostly for the famous celebrities. This article tries to make a brief comment on some basic experiences of Chinese language education in Australian secondary schools according to a Chinese syllabus for secondary schools in Australia in the 1980s, with due consideration to the relevant situations in Japan, the United States and the Soviet Union. This outline (Note) is actually of a general nature. Is divided into two parts: “English teacher’s task ”; “English curriculum guidelines ”. The review focuses on the following three issues.
