In his glorious life, Lenin wrote a great deal of news and information for the newspaper. “Petersburg after January 9” is one of them. This news melting report, lyrical, comments in a furnace, is a norm of news writing. “Peterborough after January 9” was published on January 15, 1995 in Proceedings No. 5 after January 13, 1905. Early in the morning of January 9, 1905 (Sunday), the workers in Peterborough married and carried old and young children and carried the portrait of the Tsar, carrying banners of prayer flags and prayer songs in order to march to the Hermitage Present to the tsar a petition stating his pain. Tsar Nicholas II inhumanly ordered the shooting of defenseless workers, killing more than a thousand people and injuring more than 2,000 others. The blood of the workers is flowing down the streets of Petersburg. The lesson of blood made the workers understand that only by fighting can they gain their rights. In the evening, the workers in Petersburg began to build barricades and opened the prelude to the first revolution in Russia by their heroic struggle.
