I. Overview of the Study of Economic Law in 1999 In 1999, the turn of the century was a year in which the study of economic law was concluded, reflected and continued to develop. Economic law as a major challenge to the study of law in this century shows its vitality, charisma and rich social resources. Therefore, this year’s research reflects the following characteristics: First, the theoretical study of economic law has developed in depth and the research methods have become more diversified. Convergence of views and consensus have been increasing and the objective law and essence of economic law have been gradually conspicuous. Second, the specific system of research and basic theory complement each other, go hand in hand, with the development of specific systems contrast with its basic theory
