各地区行署,各市、县、自治县人民政府,柳铁,区直各委、办、厅、局:全区第九届少数民族传统体育运动会原定于1997年在玉林地区举行,由玉林地区行署委托原县级贵港市负责承办。鉴于贵港市已经国务院批准于1995年12月升格为地级市,为理顺关系,同时也为了我区做好参加1999年第六届全国少数民族传统体育运动会的准备,经自治区人民政府同意,将全区第九届少数民族传统体育运动会举办的时间、地点重新明确为1998年在贵港市举办。
