笔者和几位朋友最近有幸试用爱普生公司推出的顶级彩色激光打印机EPL-C8000。该机的优异性能及打印效果令大家叹为观止,忍不住赶快向同行介绍。 EPC-C8000外型与大型复印机相似（如图1）,机重达70Kg可谓打印机中“巨无霸”。因此该机除了标准打印接口外,还有两个插槽可插上Type B以太网卡,选用100M以太网卡,EPL-C8000就能实现跨平台操作,成为名符其实的网络打印机。它支持Windows和Windows NT多种操作系统,通过NT网络,PC及Mac机均能享用EPL-C8000。
