针对柴达木盆地柴西南地区岩性油气藏、塔里木盆地碳酸盐岩缝洞型储层、四川盆地和吐哈盆地高陡构造、哈萨克斯坦滨里海盆地盐丘和盐下构造等重要勘探盆地和重点勘探领域,进行地震资料处理、有利储层预测、油气检测等方法研究,形成了多信息约束、多方法综合的静校正技术、地表一致性处理技术、叠前保真去噪技术、各向异性浮动基准面叠前成像技术、波动方程叠前深度偏移技术、模型正演及多属性半定量缝洞型储层预测技术、三维缝洞体系定量雕刻及流体识别技术,同时形成了三维大连片一体化处理解释、碳酸盐岩缝洞型储层的半定量—定量描述、复杂地表高陡构造成像和盐下构造成像等配套技术。在重要勘探盆地和重点勘探领域应用以上技术系列,取得了明显的勘探效果。
