According to officials from the State Development Planning Commission, China is studying concrete measures to further improve price management in monopoly industries. Its purpose is to solve the current situation of over-high personal income in monopoly industries. Relevant policies to be promulgated will include reforming the mechanism of price formation, establishing a mechanism of cost restraint and improving the rules of price tagging. Improve the monopoly industry price system
