有一本《幼儿心理学》的书,引述了这样一个实验材料,即要求幼儿分别用不同的思维方式完成以下的任务:把一套简单的杠杆连接起来,借以取得用手不能直接拿到的糖果,即找出物体之间极简单的机械关系。第一种可用感知动作思维的方式解决问题,就是在实验桌上放有实物杠杆,孩子可以动手操作以达到目的;第二种则需要用具体形象思维的方式解决问题,就是只在图画中画出有关物体的图形,让孩子看,孩子只能凭借图象去思考解决问题;第三种只能用抽象逻辑思维的方式解决问题,就是不给孩子提供实物,也不提供画有实物的图片,只用言语说明任务和条件,这时,孩子既不能动手做,也无图象可凭,而只能在概念的基础上,凭借抽象逻辑思维解决问题。这项研究的结果如下:
