“双核”驱动战略提出后,4月中下旬,自治区主席陈武先后到西江经济带和北部湾经济区调研。陈武认为,在新的历史起点上,北部湾经济区开发建设要坚持几个方面:一要坚持以产业发展为核心,加快现代产业集聚;二要坚持以港口为龙头,加快建设区域性国际现代化大港口和集疏运体系;三要坚持港产并举、港城一体,加快新型城镇化建设;四要坚持深化改革创新,扩大开放合作;五要在产业布局上树立经济区发展一盘棋的思想,保护好生态环境,科学合理有效开发利用岸线资源,积极引进大产业、大企业和大项目,带动更多的中小企业加快发展。
