在相同条件下,红富士苹果含糖量明显的区别在于,大果高于中等以下的果。如果单果重超过200克以下,其固有的色、形、味、汁液、糖酸度都会充分的表现出来。而且大果售价高,同样果个数量,大小差价超过一半。因此,应尽最大努力增大果个。果个大小,主要取决与幼果期细胞分裂的数目及果实膨大期细胞体积的增加。以下是我个人的实践经验总结:
