我国近代著名艺术教育家、高僧弘一大师的墓塔坐落在泉州北郊的清源山千手岩东北侧、弥陀岩西南侧的一个高台上,1991年3月被列为福建省第三批省级文物保护单位。弘一大师(1880—1942年),俗姓李,幼名成蹊,学名文涛,艺名息霜,字叔同,号息翁。他的名号还很多,但前半生是以李叔同之名字蜚声国内外艺术教育界,出家后乃以弘一之号为世人所熟知。弘一大师祖籍浙江平湖,
