出租车行业经历过蓬勃发展的辉煌,也正经历着前所未有的考验与挑战,但在政府的领导下,出租车企业正在不断求新求变,正努力寻求转型升级的突破口。在重庆,现有客运出租汽车2万余辆,其中主城出租车15,000辆,占全市出租车总量的75%左右,从业人员4万余人,绝大部分为区县入城农民工。重庆主城现有出租车企业共58个,其中国有企业4个,民营企业47个,私车服务公司3个,私车服务小组4个。
