洪浩尔舒特凹陷是二连盆地最典型的生油凹陷之一,发育3个生油洼槽、3套烃源层,母质来源以陆生高等植物为主,有机质热演化阶段处于低熟、未熟期,阿尔善组为主力烃源层,腾格尔组一段是次要烃源层;东洼槽是主力生油洼槽,其次是中洼槽,最后是西洼槽;洼槽控制油气的生成、运移、聚集、成藏。通过对该凹陷油气生成的系统解剖,明确了二连盆地油气生成的最大特点是断陷分割、洼槽控油、近源成藏,各凹陷自成含油气系统,资源丰富,勘探潜力巨大。
