太平天国历时十多年,是中国历史上反对封建主义斗争的最高峰,它也是中国历史上唯一一个使用文书作为处理公务的工具的农民政权。在太平天国的文书里,有很多专用的字和词语。在太平天国的文献中出现了许多的旧词新义,这些词的意义只有在太平天国文献里适用或出现,以至于连《汉语大词典》里都找不到对应的意思。因此,研究太平天国公文词语中的旧词新义有助于丰富汉语的词汇系统,也有助于词语工具书的完善和发展。
The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom lasted more than 10 years and was the culmination of the struggle against feudalism in Chinese history. It was also the only peasant regime that used instruments as a tool to handle official affairs in Chinese history. There are many special words and phrases in the Taiping texts. Many new meanings of old words appeared in the literature of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. The meaning of these words is only applicable to or appearing in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom literature, so that even the corresponding meaning can not be found in the Great Chinese Dictionary. Therefore, studying the new meanings of the old words in the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom’s official words helps to enrich the Chinese vocabulary system and also contributes to the improvement and development of the word tools.
