地方志被视为学术著作,一个显著的特点就是其资料应该注明出处。目前之所以没有普遍,主要是这一观点尚未被广大修志工作者普遍接受,对于几乎是全部资料的志书,哪些需要注明出处,以及注明的方式方法感到迷茫。志书资料需要注明出处的,主要集中在历史沿革、统计数据、辑录原文、口碑资料、引文等部分。其注明的方式方法,可以正文交代、篇后注明、页末注、夹注、列举参考书目等结合运用。
