Ten years after China joined the WTO, China has undergone tremendous changes in its economy and society. China’s agriculture broke through the pessimistic expectations of its accession and achieved unexpected successes. The first is that the Central Party Committee and the State Council attach great importance to agriculture and rural areas and put forward a series of strategic concepts and policies guiding the work on agriculture, rural areas and farmers. Second is to continuously increase support for agriculture to protect efforts.
