On September 6, 1990, the Ministry of Construction and the State Development Planning Commission issued the “Notice on Implementing the State Council’s Supplementary Opinions on Strictly Controlling Urban Residential Standards” in (90) Jian Zi Zi No. 401. Now published below. After the “Regulations of the State Council on Strictly Controlling Urban Residential Standards” (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”) was issued in 1983, all regions and departments generally strengthened their leadership over housing construction. Most of the units have implemented urban residential standards. Inspected and corrected some problems that exceeded the national standards for residential housing, and implemented the regulations of the State Council.
