In recent years, with the deepening of the reform and opening up, the readjustment of the industrial structure and the heated market competition, many enterprises in our country, including large state-owned enterprises, are in a slump situation and some even go bankrupt. As a result, the number of laid-off workers is on the rise. In fact, laid-offs or unemployment are common phenomena all over the world. Recently, a massive global layoff is sweeping the thriving high-tech enterprises and the prestigious large multinational corporations, leaving those who have always been proud of the high-level white-collar workers have also tasted a “laid off” taste.
