随着社会的不断发展进步,忽视学生个性发展的同一规格教育的弊端不断显露出来,造成大学英语教学出现费时低效的局面。随着教育改革的不断发展,差异性教育符合了现代教育理念,针对学生的个体差异,以及教育部因材施教的教学原则,从保护学生情感出发实行英语隐性分层教学,使不同层次的学生都能在自己的“最近发展区”内获得发展。文章对隐性分层教学的内涵、理论依据、具体方法、实验效果等各方面进行了论述。
