我本是山东乡下孩子,长大后出乎意外地从事外交工作,但即使是身处异国他乡,照样不由自主地关注中国的农业,深深眷恋广大农村的父老乡亲。艾青有句诗:“为什么我的眼里常含泪水?因为我对这土地爱得深沉”。对我来说,对养育我的那片土地,如同远行的孩子时刻惦念着爹娘和爷爷奶奶。
I was a native of Shandong and grew up unexpectedly engaged in diplomatic work. However, even in a foreign country, I can not help but concerned about China’s agriculture and deeply attached to the vast majority of rural folks. Ai Qing has a poem: “Why does my eyes often contain tears? Because I love this land deeply”. For me, the land that nurtured me was like the father and mother and the grandparents at the same time as the long-distance children.
