It is time to re-examine the southernmost tip of this great artificial river, for its incredible tremendous changes have taken place each and every year in recent years. Two thousand years ago, when faced with the constant stream of a river, Confucius said: the deceased, such as Si Fu. This ancient statement of the saint encompassing the ultimate in the changing of all things, making all the rivers filled with the complex philosophical meanings. Five years ago in the spring, when I heard about the canal in Hangzhou section will start remediation news, I do not know why suddenly remembered what the philosopher once said, although I can not fully understand the hints and metaphors. When the time went to the fall of the year 2010, we also witnessed the fifth launch of the new Grand Canal in Hangzhou section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. In a sense, every time Hangzhou launches a new canal, it is a reborn rebirth as the southernmost tip of the artificial river.
