我国自1984年开始逐步进行社会保障制度改革。三十多年来,通过不断改革与创新,我国社会保障体系建设迅速发展,在世界上人口最多的国家建立起了比较健全的社会保障制度体系。目前,我国已成为世界上社会保障制度覆盖人数最多、保障项目基本齐备的国家,形成非常庞大的社会保障体系,保障能力日益增强,成为一个社保大国,取得举世公认的巨大成就,正在逐步走向人人依法公平享有社会保障的新时代。
