中国家以玉器工艺闻名世界。千百年来,玉器无论是作为生产工具,还是财富的标志、政治权力的象征、宗教祭祀的器皿,或是文化艺术展现,都受到人们的喜爱,因而成为收藏家们争相购藏的目标。伴随而来的是直接的经济利益,更进一步玉器的时代问题、真伪问题便摆在了非常突出的位置。古往今来,玉器中假冒前朝器物,以假乱真的很多。假古玉早在宋代就已出现,到了明、清、民国时期更多。
