Currently the most effective clinical management forserious intractable chyluria is renal pedicle lymphaticdisconnection,which generally consists ofnephrolympholysis,renal hilar lymphatic vessel strippingand ureterolympholysis.~1 In most conventional opensurgical procedures,a lumbar incision is used andperinephrium and adipose capsule of kidney cut open,resulting in a heavy injury and long interval ofpostoperative recovery.The laparoscopic technique,withminimal invasion,less complications and rapidpostoperative recovery,is being utilized more and moreas the alternative surgical technique for urologicaldisease.
