1988年6月15日,《人民日报》40周年社庆。报社大门装饰一新,挂起了大型红色宫灯;花坛上百花怒放,一派喜气洋洋的景象。今天,凌晨有风有雨,早晨还有朵朵乌云,但更多的是灿烂明媚的阳光,象征着《人民日报》40年走过的不平凡道路。在我的记忆里,(《人民日报》40年间,不曾举行过什么社庆活动。今年40周年,简朴而热烈地庆贺一番,更具意义的是,如何使我们的报纸办得更出色些,
