提到“光”，我们会首先想到“光谷”，只这一个简单的“谷”字，就把看不见摸不着的“光”置身到了一个本世纪全球最大的产业当中。十几前年，科学家曾经预言：光电子行业会在１０年内形成５００００亿美元的产值，成为本世纪全球最大的产业。继美国的图森市成为全球关注的第一个“光谷”后，英国、德国、日本相继启动了关于“光”的计划。那么，中国的情况如何呢？
When it comes to “light,” we will first think of “Optics Valley.” Only this simple “Gu” word puts the invisible “light” into the world’s largest industry in this century. A dozen the year before last, scientists had predicted that the optoelectronic industry would have a value of 5 billion U.S. dollars in 10 years and become the largest industry in the world this century. After the United States of Tucson became the first optical valley of global concern, Britain, Germany and Japan launched their plans for “Light.” So what is the situation in China?
