纯粹是中国传统美学中的一种美学境界,是审美批评中的一种艺术品格和审美标准。有影响的中国古典诗画都是纯粹的,蕴含着强烈的感召力。纯粹作为平面设计的一种语言特点,具有创意真诚自然,作品不同凡响扣人心弦的艺术效果。 “纯粹”一词最早见于《庄子》,“纯粹而不杂,静一而不变”,主要指真人体天地之道而雕砺心志的修养功夫,即“纯素之道,唯神是守;守而勿失,与神为一;一之精通,合于天伦”。古语“纯”,指丝,引申为精华、精美、真、全、净。“粹”,指素,引申为专一、精华、洁、齐、全。简言之,“纯粹”,就是纯正而不杂。六朝时期,纯粹不仅是大批文人学士修身养性的指针,而且成为一种执着的审美追求。纯粹以其高远超逸的风神,标峙于中国古典美学,对中国文化产生了深远的影响。
