高等职业教育以服务地方经济为目的,围绕地方经济、市场和企业需要,培养社会、经济、企业实用性人才、技术应用性人才。所以说,高职教育的结构性特征提高了区域民营经济的整体水平,促进了区域民营经济结构的优化。而民营经济的区域性特征又直接影响着高职教育的结构与类型,影响着高职教育的发展。因此,高职教育的发展趋势和状况,基本与区域经济的产业结构相适应。所以说,高职教育与民营经济的相互影响、相互关系比其他任何普通教育都直接、都密切。
