5月12日,在我国第6个防灾减灾日里,丹江口市在大坝中学实施地震应急救援综合演练。一声凄厉急促的警报声在空中持续响起,大坝中学1400多名学生在班主任或课任教师迅速组织学生躲到课桌下避险,稍后地震停息,同学们在老师的带领下按照紧急疏散路线紧张有序从教学楼撤离到空旷的运动场,经教师现场清查,发现有5名学生被困教学楼上,学校当即向地震救援指挥部汇报险情,请求救援。地震应急救援指挥部当即命令救援队员奔赴发生险情的教学楼前,拉起警戒线,部分救援队员快速冲进教学楼,发现一名学生受伤不省人事,四名学生被困在教学楼某走廊
