汕头大学图书馆的自动化管理是一个集成系统,其中流通子系统与读者关系最密切且工作量较大。它与书目查询子系统是我馆最早建成并投入使用的,从1990年2月开通至今,运行良好,使用方便、灵活、功能齐全、安全可靠,大大减轻了流通工作的强度,提高了工作效率和效益,深受广大读者欢迎。现就我馆流通子系统的设计需求和实现作一些介绍。一、设计要求我们要求子系统实行多用户、多功能、多出纳口的并行操作,达到快速实时响应各项事务处理。在操作中实现中文屏幕化、表格化和对话式,并且与我馆自动化集成系统其它子系统兼容。
