我厂現在所应用的內冷铁分螺旋形和圆柱形內冷铁两种。冷铁的形状和規格的制定是在苏联专家尤个崗諾夫同志的帮助下参照烏拉尔重型机器厂稍加修改确定的。在使用內冷铁时,要考虑到冷铁金屬是不是能被要所冷却的液体金属很好的熔化或是很好的熔接在一起。据专家介紹冷铁的重量占被冷却部分金属重量的2~5%就可以了。但是对于厚大的平面鑄件或是砧形鑄件,因为被冷却的范圍很大,所以內冷铁的重量可以提高到8%。
I plant now used within the cold iron sub-spiral and cylindrical two kinds of cold iron. The shape and specification of chilled iron were determined with the help of Comrade Konfunov, a Soviet expert, with reference to a slight modification of the Ural Heavy Machinery Plant. When using internal chill iron, consider whether the chill iron metal can be melted or welded well to the liquid metal to be cooled. According to experts, the weight of chilled iron accounts for 2 ~ 5% of the metal weight of the cooling part. However, for thick flat castings or anvil castings, the weight of the inner chilled iron can be increased to 8% because of the large range of cooling.
