In this paper, the color reaction of HSCT with platinum was studied. In hydrochloric acid medium, HSCT reacted with platinum to form a stable 2: 1 complex with λmax = 535 nm and ε = 6.2 4 × 10 4 L · mol -1 · cm -1. Beer’s law is inferred for the platinum content in the range of 0-5 0 μg / 25 m L and is used for the determination of platinum content in the catalyst
