一九九三年五月三十日,对于北京女子手球队来说,是个值得骄傲和庆贺的日子。在北京朝阳体育馆提前进行的第七届全运会女子手球的最后决战中,她们顽强奋战,终以18:17战胜了老对手上海队,蝉联全运会冠军,重现了1987年六运会上为北京代表团夺取首枚金牌的辉煌。为了这枚重要的金牌,她们苦苦准备了六年。这其中的酸甜苦辣也只有全队的教练员和运动员们最清楚。胜利之后,领队李福圣,主教练陈自安,主力队员石伟、翟超在接受记者采访时,坦诚而又冷静地吐露了心声,客观地评价了全队在这六年当中的努力
