前言 我国西北广大地区属于荒漠、半荒漠和干草原景观带。尤其新疆、河西走廊、宁夏、青海等荒漠,半荒漠地区,气候异常干燥,如果不进行灌溉,根本不能进行农业生产。解放后在党和政府的邻导下,为了发展农业,在上述地区曾经进行大面积的荒地开垦和各河流域的规划,因而土壤调查工作显得非常重要。但在这些地区没有或很少有作为绘制土壤图底图的中比例尺和大比例尺的地形图和平面图。在这种情况之下,要想进行绘制土壤图是非常困难的。即使有平面图而无等高线的地形图,仍然不能确定适于灌溉及利
Preface China’s vast northwestern region belongs to desert, semi-desert and steppe landscape belt. Especially in Xinjiang, Hexi Corridor, Ningxia, Qinghai and other deserts, semi-desert areas, the climate is unusually dry, if not for irrigation, can not be agricultural production. After the liberation, under the leadership of the party and the government, in order to develop agriculture, reclamation of large areas of wasteland and planning of various river basins were carried out in these areas.
