说起常熟梅李镇,都知道这是一个历史悠久的江南文化古镇。镇内建于宋朝的聚沙塔和月河古桥,是梅李镇的象征和历史见证。历史照进现实,如今,我们又看到了一个经济蓬勃发展的梅李。近年来,梅李镇牢固树立和落实科学发展观,保持了经济和社会事业发展的良好势头。2011年,全镇实现地区生产总值107.3亿元,工业总产值316亿元,财政一般预算收入3.8亿元,各项经济指标位居全市前列。梅李镇先后获得“国家卫生镇”、“全国环境优美镇”、“中国经编名镇”、“全国纺织精神文明建设示范基地”、“中国人居环境范例奖”、“江苏省园林小城镇”等荣誉称号。
Speaking of Changshu Meili Town, all know that this is a long history of southern culture and ancient town. The town built in the Song Dynasty Ju Shahe and the ancient bridge on the river, is the symbol of plum town and historical witness. According to the reality of history, nowadays, we have seen another prosperous plum. In recent years, Meili Town has firmly established and implemented the scientific concept of development and maintained the good momentum of economic and social development. In 2011, the town achieved a total GDP of 10.73 billion yuan, a total industrial output value of 31.6 billion yuan and a fiscal general budget revenue of 380 million yuan. The economic indicators ranked the forefront of the city. Mei Li Town has won the title of “National Sanitary Town”, “Beautiful Town of National Environment”, “China Warp Known Town”, “National Textile Spiritual Civilization Demonstration Base”, “China’s Habitat Environment Example Award ”, “ small garden town in Jiangsu Province ”and other honorary titles.
