记得五六十年代,作者们努力捕捉现实生活的闪光点,努力刻画时代英雄形象的创作观念和创作意识是比较明确的、自觉的。虽说那时的作品带着幼稚、粗糙、匆忙的痕迹和某些有违艺术规律的说教等弊病,但应该肯定的是,那种强烈的“找英雄,写英雄”的观念与意识是正确的,是至今也应予肯定的一种创作主体意识,决不应在承认其存有不足与缺陷的同时连带主体的正确也掷弃了。可是在随后的一段较长时期内,这种可贵的创作主体意识在我们头脑中变得淡薄了。有的人不相信生活中有英雄,不屑让社会主义新人进入笔下作品,兴趣全放在那些所谓性格复杂、人格复杂的非英雄人物身上。这已形成一种较为普遍的创作倾向。这种创作倾向难道是对以往极左文艺路线抗争的矫枉过正?难道仅是“非英雄化”观念对我们的戕害?还是我们
