近几年来,荣成市职业介绍中心大力加强劳动力市场建设,强化就业及再就业中介服务。1995年以来,已有近6000名求职者和失业、下岗人员从这里走上了新的工作岗位。一、大力加强职业介绍中心的软硬件建设,发挥中心的就业主渠道作用。为了促进劳动力资源的开发利用和合理配置,将各类用人单位用工和各类人员求职择业全部纳入劳动力市场管理。1997年荣成市职业介绍中心投资30多万元,建起了一处面积达200多平方米的劳务洽谈大厅,安装了6平方米的电子信息大屏幕,发布招工信息。劳务洽谈大厅实行一条龙服务,设立了就业指导、用工登记、再就业服务、就业手续、档案托管等八个服务窗口,可一次性容纳近千人进行就业洽谈。为配合全市再就业工作的开展,促进失业、下岗人员的再就业,中心还在荣成市电视台、荣成日报上开办了再就业求职专栏,免费刊播失业、下岗人员求职信息和用工
