During the January-December 2005 period, shares of construction machinery makers were very impressive. The iCC-I index has soared more than 30% in a year, much faster than blue chip indices such as the Dow Jones Industrial Average in the United States and the FTSE 100 in the UK. Only Japan’s Topix500 index rose more than iCC-I.
