测绘工作是一项复杂而繁重的工作，需要反复的复核和修正，并且要求高精度、高质量，基于现代信息技术发展起来的地理信息系统在测绘中的应用，不仅能够提高测绘工作的精度，而且能够大大简化测绘工作的繁琐，提高测绘的覆盖面和工作有效性，从而为经济社会发展的各个方面提供有力的支持。基于此，本文对地理信息系统在测绘中的相关应用进行了分析和探究，以期为人们更好的认识和开展新时期的测绘工作提供一定的参考。
Surveying and mapping work is a complicated and arduous task, which requires repeated review and correction, and requires high-precision, high-quality, based on modern information technology developed geographic information system in the application of surveying and mapping, not only can improve the accuracy of surveying and mapping, But also can greatly simplify the cumbersome mapping work and improve the mapping coverage and effectiveness of work so as to provide strong support for all aspects of economic and social development.
