[Column Moderator Discourse] This year marks the 400th anniversary of the death of the great British dramatist Shakespeare (1564-1616). There are commemorative activities in all countries in the world. The frequent cultural exchanges between China and the United Kingdom and the continuous ups and downs of various activities. We are fortunate enough to borrow a corner of “foreign language teaching” to open up a part of Shakespeare’s drama translation criticism and creation research column and make a commemorative right to use it to launch a series of new achievements in translation and research of Shakespeare in the country to readers.
