庶常馆是清代翰林院里设置的一个机构,清政府从新科进士中选择文学和书法好的人入馆进一步学习,称翰林院庶吉士。三年后考试,成绩优良者分别授以翰林院编修、检讨等官,其余分发各部任主事等职,或以知县优先委用,称为散馆。乾隆七年(1742)四月十九日是庶常馆散馆之日,庶吉士们在大殿上进行最后一次考试。
The Shu Guan Hall is an institution set up in the Imperial Academy in the Qing Dynasty. The Qing government selected literary and calligraphic good persons to enter the museum for further study.
