为纪念田汉同志诞辰94周年、中国左翼戏剧家联盟成立60周年,文化部、中国文联、中国剧协、中国艺术研究院和中国田汉研究学会,共同主办了这次隆重的纪念活动,以缅怀先驱者的业绩,继承革命戏剧的光荣传统。中央领导同志在百忙中出席今天的纪念会,是对我们戏剧运动和戏剧工作的大力支持和亲切关怀。让我代表主办单位对他们表示衷心的感谢! 田汉同志是我国杰出的无产阶级文化战士、中国革命戏剧运动的奠基人之一、戏曲革命的先驱者、优秀的剧作家。田汉同志早年就投身于反帝反封建的新文化运动,他留学日本归国后,致力于南国艺术运动,创办了著名的南国社,与他的战友们开拓了中国话剧的新路。在不断探求中,他自觉地接受了马克思主义,从一个激进的小资产阶级民主主义者,成长为一名无产阶级战士。正当中国人民和革命内遭国民党反动派的残酷镇压、外受日本帝国主义侵略者的铁蹄践踏,在中国共产党处境最困难的时期,田汉同志毅然参加了中国共产党。此后,他成为党所领导的左翼
In commemoration of the 94th anniversary of Comrade Tian Han’s birth, the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the China Left-wing Playwrights Association, the Ministry of Culture, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Chinese Theater Association, China Academy of Art and China Tian Han Research Society co-hosted this solemn commemoration in honor of the pioneers Who inherit the glorious tradition of revolutionary drama. The attending today’s commemorative meeting of the central leading comrades during their busy schedule is a strong support and cordial concern for our drama and theater work. Let me express my sincere thanks on behalf of the organizers! Comrade Tian Han is one of China’s outstanding proletarian cultural fighters, one of the founders of the Chinese revolutionary drama movement, a pioneer of the drama revolution, and an outstanding dramatist. In the early years of his career, Comrade Tian Han devoted himself to the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal new culture movement. After returning from studying in Japan, he devoted himself to the Southern Art Movement and founded the famous Southern Society. He opened up a new road to Chinese drama with his comrades in arms. In constant quest, he consciously accepted Marxism and grew up from a radical petty-bourgeois democracy to a proletarian warrior. Just as the Chinese people and the brutal suppression of the Kuomintang reactionaries within the revolution and the trauma of the Japanese imperialist aggressors have trampled on them, Comrade Tian Han resolutely joined the Chinese Communist Party during the most difficult period for the Chinese Communist Party. Since then, he has become the party’s leading left
