容积法定碳应用以来,由于它的操作迅速,手续简便,分析准确度高因而迄今仍得到广泛应用并为国内外列为标准方法推荐。容积法定碳多年来不断的完善和补充,现仍在继续改进。我们利用压缩空气搅拌量气管恒温夹套中水来使量气管夹套设计为直形夹套,比原来仪器相形于量气管恒温夹套容量大,这样使微量刻度量气管(细量气管)测定0.05%以下碳含量的稳定性问题得到解决(使刻度液面平稳,夹套改进前刻度液面上升)。低碳量气管由天玻一厂制作。利用了压缩空气搅拌量气管恒温夹套中水,准确控制量气管夹套中水的温度,对常量碳的测定也有所改善。对提高容积法定碳的准确度是有好处的。
