全面推进依法治国,加快建设社会主义法治国家,是我们党站在历史新起点上提出的一项重要战略任务。依法治国是坚持和发展中国特色社会主义的本质要求和重要保障,是实现国家治理体系和治理能力现代化的必然要求,事关我们党执政兴国,事关人民幸福安康,事关党和国家长治久安。地方人大常委会在贯彻实施依法治国基本方略过程中,应该怎样发挥助推和促进作用?通过一段时间的学习、思考,有了以下几点认识。
To comprehensively promote the rule of law in accordance with the law and accelerate the building of a socialist country ruled by law are our important strategic tasks put forward by our party at the new historical starting point. Ruling the country by law is an essential requirement and an important guarantee for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is an inevitable requirement for the modernization of the country’s governing system and governing ability. It is also related to our party’s governing and rejuvenating the country, to the people’s happiness and well-being, and to the long-term peace and stability of the party and the country. During the course of implementing the basic strategy of governing the country according to law, how should the local people’s congress committees play the role of boosting and promoting?
