当任何一个年代的任何一个孩子与沙砾游戏的那一刻起,第一海水浴场的丰姿就已经在任何一个灵魂里生根发芽。岁月无情,沧桑之后,如果我们还有幸为生命留有一隅冲动的狂想,那就应该从第一海水浴场的细节出发,触摸、感叹、惊喜,直到找回最初的记忆。万永初曾经住在第一海水浴场,和他们家一样把蜗居垒在沙滩上的还有140户左右。上世纪50年代末期,万永初在文登路小学读书,学校里的很多体育活动都是在沙滩上进行的,当然,也包括集体在沙滩上用砖头起炉灶大炼钢铁。因为有潮汐,有沙滩,有船,有各种海生物,就演绎出无数与自然沟通的方式,制造着万永初生命中最初
