为适应我国老年教育迅猛发展的需要,进一步发展老年教育事业,北京中国老年教育中心于一九八九年一月三十日在人民大会堂宣告成立。 北京中国老年教育中心是在全国老龄委员会的领导下,由中央广播电视大学、中华老年报社、国家教委老干部局、全国老年大学协会联合创办的老年社会教育机构,中心设在北京。这个中心的成立,得到了国家领导和国家教育委员会的支持。
In order to meet the needs of the rapid development of education for the aged in our country and further develop the education for the elderly, the Beijing China Center for Geriatric Education was proclaimed at the Great Hall of the People on January 30, 1989. Beijing China Center for Gerontological Education is an elder social education institution co-founded by China Radio and Television University, China Older Newspaper, Veteran Bureau of State Education Commission, and National Association of Senior Citizens under the leadership of the National Committee on Aging. The center is located in Beijing. The establishment of this center has won the support of the state leaders and the State Board of Education.
