1995年5月～1999年4月，采用改进后的结扎器经内窥镜治疗有出血史或急性出血的食管静脉曲张患者48例，其中32例在急性出血期急症结扎。48例共进行了88次、568处结扎，32例活动性出血者均经一次结扎后止血。作者认为本法安全可靠，简单易行，可以推广。
