中国近百年以来外国文学史的编撰出版取得了具大的成就,但同时也存在着学术的文学史与教学所需文学史不分、师范类文学史与非师范类文学史不分以及批评方法、话语等方面的问题。因此,提出外国文学史的编写应该在开列“时间表”、“名录表”基础上,将文学史的历时性解读编写方法,上升为欧洲文学史人本主义传统文化主题的内在一贯性连接式解读编写方法。
